Description
As a ServiceNow developer at the company, you will collaborate across cross-functional teams to support the company's new strategic push into digital and modernized infrastructure and architecture. You'll play a vital role as a liaison between groups, ensuring that platform decisions and architecture are coordinated efficiently.
Working closely with IT leadership, you'll design and develop integration strategies and layers, translating these decisions into technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to standards, collaborating with entities like the company's IT Enterprise Architecture Office (EAO) to ensure that approved architecture aligns consistently with security and standards set by the company.
Responsibilities
Maintain existing ServiceNow modules to support the business and IT Service Management practices.
Work with a team of ServiceNow Developers and Business Analysts in an Agile Software Development environment.
Implement additional ServiceNow modules, as they are procured.
Adhere to standards for implementations in ServiceNow to ensure consistency and supportability of customizations.
Perform platform upgrades and review of key update sets.
Develop test cases for functional and regression testing and execute them as part of any ServiceNow platform or module upgrade/change.
Drive the improvement of our ServiceNow implementation and service offerings based on user feedback.
Create custom workflows to support business processes.
Perform data imports.
Create integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.
Administer/maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.
Create and maintain ServiceNow Business Rules and Metrics.
Create and maintain Service Catalog Items and Knowledge Bases.
Work with ServiceNow and other vendors.
Build New applications on the platform.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
ITIL/ITSM experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be persuasive yet diplomatic.
4+ years working as a ServiceNow developer (Must Have)
Expertise with Service Portal Design (Must Have)
Proficient in JavaScript, AngularJS, and HTML (Must Have)
Experience in building new REST API integrations with ServiceNow (Must Have)
Incident, Release, Asset Management, CMDB, Agent Workspace Configuration (Nice to Have)
ServiceNow Certifications (Nice to Have)
